Giving Back: It's Our Mission
Our impact. Our community. Our mission. Our Commitment to Giving Back
Since 2000, Mission Wealth has shown a strong commitment to community support. We give a percentage of our firm profits each year to local, national, and international non-profit organizations and are proud to now give back to nearly 150 nonprofit organizations each year. We are committed to making an impact and provide team members with various ways to give back.
We believe that by giving back to the communities in which we work and live, we can help create positive change. Mission Wealth is proud to focus our giving on four main areas, environmental protection, health and human services, youth and education, and financial literacy.
As we continue to grow and evolve, our commitment to giving will remain a foundation of our mission.
Learn More About Our Impact
Local Impact in Our Communities
Mission Wealth has many offices located across the nation. We want our team to make a difference in their local communities. To do so, we organize team volunteering events and provide philanthropic budgets for each team to use in their area. Since 2022, these teams volunteered at 14 regional events and donated more than $200,000 to their local communities.Financial Literacy and Scholarship Program
In 2022, Mission Wealth and the Center for Financial Planning partnered to launch the Mission Wealth Scholars scholarship program. It aims to advance the financial planning profession and financial literacy. This is done by providing financial assistance to individuals pursuing their CFP® certification. Those individuals must be from populations underrepresented in the profession.
Sponsorships and Financial Support
We are committed to investing in our communities and helping create positive, lasting change. We are proud to have supported over 40 organizations across the United States since 2022. This includes monetary donations and firm sponsorships.
Through these efforts, we have helped create positive change in local communities and provided much-needed resources to those in need. In 2022, our focus was gifting to environmental protection, health and human services, education and youth development, and financial literacy. We look forward to continuing to provide our support and resources to those in need and making a positive impact in our communities.
Volunteering Nationwide
We support our employees’ desire to give back to the communities in which they live and work. Our employees have taken part in a variety of social responsibility initiatives, such as volunteering at local food banks, helping to build homes for homeless veterans, and participating in beach cleanups. Through these initiatives and more, we are committed to promoting social responsibility and making a positive difference in the lives of those we serve.
In 2022, Mission Wealth introduced several initiatives to support social responsibility. These included paid volunteer time off (VTO), regional volunteering events, donation matching and allocated team giving budgets. This year, employees utilized more than 400 hours of volunteering across 120 nonprofits.
Mission Wealth Goes Green
As a Certified Green Business, we have made a commitment to reduce our carbon footprint by using sustainable products and materials, and to promote the use of renewable energy sources. In order to encourage our employees to continue to make a positive impact, we have implemented an employee engagement program that rewards those who volunteer, donate, or actively work to reduce our environmental impact. As we move forward, we will continue to prioritize social responsibility and environmental conservation in all of our initiatives.Maximize your impact. Inspire future generations.
