Learn About Amy Hollibaugh
Professional Background
Amy Hollibaugh unexpectedly entered the world of wealth management in 2001, having initially earned a degree in music from Furman University. Despite her limited financial background, she was surrounded by advisors who recognized her potential and encouraged her to enter the industry. Driven by a passion for helping others secure their futures and their encouragement, she strove to educate herself in all areas of wealth management and use that knowledge to advise others.
Today, Amy brings over 20 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor at Mission Wealth. She gained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2015 and takes pride in going beyond traditional investment and financial planning. By integrating behavioral finance and financial therapy techniques with data-driven strategies, Amy empowers her clients to make decisions that align with their unique life goals and aspirations.
Personal Pursuits
When Amy isn’t helping clients build fulfilling financial futures, she’s enjoying time with her two beloved daughters, Cora and Carlysle, whom she fondly calls her "bonus daughter." A lover of all things creative, Amy’s passions extend to music (from indie to classical), theater (especially Broadway musicals!), and art and design—where bold colors and vivid expressions hold a special place in her heart. An avid fan of "The Beautiful Game" (football, not American gridiron), Amy’s life outside of work is as vibrant and joyful as the strategies she crafts for her clients.
Community Impact
Amy is deeply committed to giving back to her community and contributing to causes that inspire growth, creativity, and opportunity. As a board member for Actor’s Express in Atlanta, GA, she supports theater that brings bold and thought-provoking stories to life, reflecting her passion for the arts.
She also volunteers with Drew Charter School in various ways, actively participating in initiatives that uplift students and enhance their learning experiences.
Amy's love for soccer extends into her role as a volunteer coach with the American Youth Soccer Organization, where she finds joy in fostering teamwork, resilience, and confidence in young athletes.
As a member of the Women on a Mission group, she is part of an array of female team members who offer the advice and guidance women need in this new age. We aim to support a future full of strong, independent women based on education, positivity, and empowerment.
