Professional Background
Kate will receive her bachelor's degree from UCSB in Economics. She has also received certificates in both the Technology and Management Program and Strategic Investments Program at UCSB. Kate is a portfolio manager managing UCSB's endowment fund with over $700k AUM and has previously interned at Thorofare Capital on the origination team.
Personal Pursuits
Kate loves outdoor running and yoga. She also likes to swim in the ocean and play beach volleyball, and she recently got into reading.
Community Impact
Kate is the VP of Community Relations of UCSB’s Pi Beta Phi, where she hosts and runs their philanthropic efforts and organizes events to get members engaged in the community. Their philanthropy is Read > Lead > Achieve, where proceeds raised go towards literacy around the US and Canada. She also goes to the local elementary school twice a month to read with children who are developing their reading skills.
