With over 15 years in the financial services industry, Jay Smith brings a comprehensive and client-focused approach to his role as Senior Wealth Advisor at Mission Wealth. Jay began his career in finance in 2010 and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2013 through Georgetown University. He graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Spanish. Prior to Mission Wealth, Jay worked for six years at a bank based in Old Town Alexandria, VA. He has held roles at boutique financial planning firms as well as a large brokerage firm—experience that helps him provide valuable insight and expert advice to Mission Wealth clients.

Jay lives in Washington, DC, and is an avid traveler, outdoorsman, and athlete.
