Professional Background
Mia Cattaneo began her career at AppFolio, a Santa Barbara-based technology company, where she quickly established herself as a highly motivated and results-driven professional. Fresh out of graduate school, Mia joined the company's property management division and rapidly rose through the ranks to become a key member of the investment management team. During her tenure at AppFolio, she led a market validation project that successfully launched the company's new website offerings.
Mia's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and an MBA from Clark University. Her formal education and extensive experience in the tech and investment management sectors have equipped her with the skills and expertise needed to deliver exceptional results for her clients at Mission Wealth. In 2024, Mia became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®.

Personal Pursuits
Born and raised in Santa Barbara, Mia left her hometown to attend college in Massachusetts. An avid sports enthusiast, Mia grew up playing soccer and volleyball, and continued to play the latter throughout college.
Outside of work, Mia enjoys spending time with her English cream golden retriever, Maverick, visiting family and friends, and traveling.
Community Impact
Previously, Mia volunteered as a coach at the Santa Barbara Volleyball Club, where she helped young athletes develop the values of hard work, dedication, problem-solving, teamwork, and perseverance. Mia takes pride in watching the girls she coached grow in confidence, improve their skills, and develop a love for the game.
As a member of the Women on a Mission group, she is part of an array of female team members who offer the advice and guidance women need in this new age. Our goal is to support a future full of strong, independent women, based on education, positivity, and empowerment.
