Karen Green first gained experience as an intern at a large CPA firm. She went on to work there full time, where she focused her abilities on tax preparation for oil and gas companies. She graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. She is now preparing to sit for the CPA exam to further her accounting career.
Personal Pursuits
As a huge foodie, Karen loves to go out and try new restaurants in Houston. She also enjoys doing various crafts and activities with her friends, such as pottery painting or pilates, and usually ends her day curled up with a good book.
Community Impact
Karen is passionate about volunteering regularly to support her local communities. She has volunteered at the Houston Food Bank to help families facing food insecurity. She has also helped to clean up the Houston Zoo and the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center.
