Professional Background
Prior to becoming a Wealth Advisor, Jacob worked in a variety of industries, including IT and the police. A constant throughout his career has been a passion for helping others, which is why he entered the financial advising industry in 2019. Jacob accredits a lot of his growth in the industry to his first role at Trellis Advisors, where he learned the fundamentals of planning while prioritizing the client’s best interest. Jacob joined Mission Wealth in 2025.
Jacob graduated from the University of Washington with his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and he holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Personal Pursuits
Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys staying active with his wife, Sarah, and two young children. He has always lived in the Pacific Northwest, so he enjoys travelling to new places with them. He also stays active through running and can often be found running around his local neighborhoods in Tacoma.
Community Impact
Jacob volunteers as a guide runner for visually impaired runners with the non-profit Rainier Adaptive Sports. He has previously served as Secretary of the Board for a local food bank.
