Connor Stogner is an Investment Intern at Mission Wealth. In this role, he collaborates closely with the Investments team, gaining hands-on exposure to the wealth management industry and Mission Wealth’s unique investment approach.
Connor is immersed in understanding market trends, portfolio strategies, and the overall investment management process. Through research and observation, he’s building foundational skills in investment analysis and learning about Mission Wealth’s client-centric investment philosophy. This internship provides Connor with valuable insights and a deeper understanding of how Mission Wealth’s team operates to meet clients’ financial goals.

Professional Background
Originally from Austin, Texas, Connor came out to California to pursue a double major in Economics and Statistics/Data Science from UC Santa Barbara. On campus, he has been involved as a Research Assistant for UCSB Department of Economics and as a Strategy Consultant for Gaucho Creative Group, strengthening his analytical skills and business acumen.
Having always been interested in the dynamic world of financial markets, Connor joined Mission Wealth as an Investments Intern during April of his Junior year.
Personal Pursuits
Outside of academics, Connor loves any and everything outside. Whether it's surfing in Isla Vista or enjoying the beautiful Santa Barbara hiking trails, his love of the outdoors knows no bounds.
When he’s not outside, Connor loves obsessing over the newest sci-fi series and cheering on the Texas Longhorns during the college football season.
Community Impact
Passionate about protecting the place he now calls home, Connor often volunteers with Isla Vista Surfrider, where he contributes to beach cleanups and education initiatives in the hopes of preserving the local coastline and promoting sustainable practices.
Back home in Austin, he has long supported the SAFE Alliance, helping with many community events that support families in need of safety and stability.
