Learn About Auddie Sweet
Professional Background
Auddie launched his wealth management career in 2017 as an intern for Waddell & Reed. In 2019, after obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Business Finance from the University of Nevada, Reno, he began developing a strong foundation in financial planning, portfolio management, and client service - first at Waddell & Reed and continuing through the firm’s acquisition and rebrand as Washoe Wealth Advisors under LPL Financial.
Seeking to deepen his impact with high-net-worth families, Auddie joined Highland Private Wealth Management as an Associate Advisor in 2023. There, he broadened his knowledge across estate and insurance planning, tax strategies, and investment management. In 2025, Auddie passed the CFP® exam and earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation - a milestone that reflects his commitment to the highest standards of financial planning.
A Certified Wealth Confidant as well, Auddie is passionate about helping clients connect their wealth to a life of meaning and purpose- and excitedly brought that philosophy to the team at Mission Wealth in 2026.
Personal Pursuits
Auddie’s roots run from Santa Barbara, where he was born, through Reno, where he grew up, to Seattle, where he now lives and thrives. Family, friends, and community are at the center of his life - as is a deep commitment to health and fitness that has carried him from the wrestling mat to the top of Mt. Rainier to the pickleball court. He bleeds for the Chicago Bears, San Antonio Spurs, and Seattle Mariners (you can ask him about that eclectic mix), and finds immense joy/escape in music. A true adventurer at heart, Auddie backpacked 193 miles in 10 days along the Camino de Santiago Portuguese route, a journey that speaks volumes to his love of the world.
Community Impact
Service has always been at the core of who Auddie is. Since 2019, he has been a Rotarian, even stepping into the role of Club President for the Reno Midtown Rotary club. There, he collaborated with local nonprofits, fundraised for charities, and rallied his community around causes that mattered. After making the move to Seattle, that spirit carried along with him, leading him to volunteer at Food Lifeline and roll up his sleeves for community clean-ups around the city. Beyond people, Auddie’s passion for service extends to the planet - he is an advocate for environmental stewardship, committed to keeping our lands and oceans clean and protecting the wildlife that calls them home.
