Brad entered the finance industry straight from UCSB and has become recognized as one of America’s “Top Wealth Managers.” He founded Mission Wealth in an effort to provide advice and an experience that clients deserved: a high standard of quality that he would expect himself as a client.
While the firm has grown over the years, he is proud to this day that the business has not lost its original priority of putting the needs of clients first. (Mission Wealth has been a fiduciary since the founding of the firm in March 2000.) Those who have earned an MS in Financial Planning are prepared to advise their clients on a wide spectrum of financial needs. Course topics include advanced pension and estate planning, financial planning, executive compensation, business and personal tax planning, security analysis and portfolio management, and financial statement analysis. The curriculum is based on a client-centered, problem-solving method using case studies to give students a hands-on approach.Certified Financial Planner™
To achieve the certification, individuals must demonstrate their financial planning competence through extensive education and a rigorous board examination focusing on the areas of financial planning, taxes, insurance, estate planning and retirement. CFP® professionals must also complete continuing education programs each year to maintain their certification status.Accredited Asset Management Specialist
This designation is awarded to those who have successfully completed a course of study encompassing investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations. Designees renew their designation every two years by completing 16 hours of continuing education.Chartered Mutual Fund Counselorsm
This designation is awarded to those who have completed a course of study encompassing all aspects of mutual funds and their uses as investment vehicles.
