Mia Relis is a Client Services Representative who collaborates closely with her team members, assisting with onboarding new clients, maintaining headquarters inventory, answering phone calls, preparing paperwork, and ensuring smooth ongoing account maintenance for clients. Professional Background

Mia’s background in administration includes overseeing the office operations at Santa Barbara Meals on Wheels, a non-profit organization that helps provide low-cost meals to the community. Through her experience working at a non-profit, she witnessed the profound impact that individuals can have on the lives of others. Prior to her non-profit work, Mia was the assistant registrar at the California School of Law and the receptionist for the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors.

Personal Pursuits

Mia is a Santa Barbara native. She enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Her hobbies outside of work include snowboarding, camping, and road trips. Mia has a deep appreciation for the arts and loves film, photography, and visiting art exhibits. She is passionate about social justice and advocating for the disadvantaged.

Community Impact

As a member of the Women on a Mission group, she is part of an array of female team members that offer the advice and guidance women need in this new age. Our goal is to support a future full of strong, independent women, based on education, positivity, and empowerment.

If you could offer any advice to your younger self, what would it be?

I think my sense of humor and positivity helps whether I’m working with an advisor or a client. If you can approach a situation with a bit of levity or a positive attitude, it can help put others at ease and feel more comfortable. And if you can make someone laugh, that’s even better.
