Professional Background
After college, Josh fulfilled a lifelong dream of playing in the NFL for six years, mostly with the Carolina Panthers and Atlanta Falcons. Post-NFL, he transitioned into wealth management working for a national broker-dealer for two and a half years. He briefly returned to the NFL as a scout in Detroit before spending the next six and a half years at a large financial planning firm in Atlanta. Josh has a Series 66 license and has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
Personal Pursuits
Josh is married to his wife, Amber, and they have three children (two sons, Levi and Caleb, and a daughter, Kendall). He enjoys coaching youth sports in his community, staying connected to the NFL through alumni events, and engaging in public speaking and appearances. In his free time, he also enjoys attending sporting events and staying active through fitness training.
Community Impact
Josh is actively involved with the Professional Athlete Outreach, a ministry dedicated to serving current and former professional athletes. He also volunteers as a youth coach for Buford sports programs, including football, basketball, and baseball. He is passionate about supporting autism-related causes and enriching the lives of underserved youth.
