Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he served as a Senior Wealth Advisor at Omega Financial Group and as a Vice President and Senior Financial Consultant in the Private Client Group at Fidelity Investments.
Jeff is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning in Colorado, where he honed his skills and knowledge in financial planning and investment management. He is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Personal Pursuits
Jeff Avila is proud to call Santa Barbara home, where he resides with his wife, Alexa, and their two cats. Outside of serving his clients and guiding his talented team members, Jeff enjoys spending time with his daughters, who have both recently graduated from college, and pursuing activities that keep him active, curious, and connected. He enjoys international travel, pickleball, swimming, and learning the game of bridge.
Community Impact
Jeff is a Board Member of the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council, of which he has been a member for more than 10 years.
He is also involved with the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), a FEMA-sponsored organization, and has become certified as a CERT member and volunteer. CERT trains volunteers in basic disaster response skills, such as:
