Emily Cardoza is a Marketing Intern at Mission Wealth. In this role, she supports the marketing team across a variety of projects while gaining hands-on experience in how thoughtful marketing and communication help strengthen connections with clients.

Her internship allows her to build on her academic studies while developing practical experience in collaboration, communication, and project execution.

Professional Background

Before joining Mission Wealth, Emily worked as an Administrative Assistant at San Jacinto College’s Student Success Center. In this role, she scheduled tutoring appointments, supported virtual tutoring services, and provided administrative assistance to students and staff. Her experience helped strengthen her communication, organization, and teamwork skills, which she continues to build upon through her marketing career.

Emily is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing at the University of Houston-Downtown. She earned her Associate of Arts in Business Administration from San Jacinto College in 2025, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

Personal Pursuits

Outside of work and school, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends and discovering new ice cream shops and restaurants around Houston.

Community Impact

Emily enjoys giving back to her community and has volunteered with The Beacon, where she helped serve individuals experiencing homelessness.
