Professional Background

Danny Mercado was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting. Danny developed a deep passion for Finance during his time at UCSB, where he joined the Strategic Investments Program to pursue these interests and eventually secured a position within the Dean’s Investment Group. During his time as an Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager within the group, he assumed leadership roles and contributed to the group’s investment strategies.

Danny has earned his Series 65 license and the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistTM certificate. He intends to continue his studies toward a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional designation.

Personal Pursuits

Growing up with a large family, Danny enjoys spending much of his time with loved ones. As an adventurist, he is always open to trying unique foods, exploring foreign cities, and meeting new people. Recently, he moved to San Francisco, California, with his girlfriend and has been appreciating life in the new city.
