Ben Johnson serves as a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor at Mission Wealth, working with individuals and families in the Seattle/Bellevue area and across the United States. He takes a personal approach, getting to know each client’s story, values, and goals, and then builds customized financial plans and portfolios that align with their unique circumstances and values. Ben works closely with each family and is dedicated to guiding them through every stage of their financial journey, offering expert advice on cash flow planning, tax strategies, and investment management.
Ben joined Mission Wealth in May 2026 through an integration after co-owning FRG Family Wealth Advisors with Jimmy Wu. He continues to support the multigenerational relationships he developed there with access to Mission Wealth’s broader team and specialized resources.
Professional Background
Prior to joining Mission Wealth, Ben co-owned and managed FRG Family Wealth Advisors in Bellevue, WA. FRG was a wealth management firm built for high-net-worth families both locally and nationally. Ben has enjoyed multi-decade relationships with many of his clients, often working with first-, second-, and third-generation members of those families. Those long-term connections have given him a deep appreciation for how wealth and family dynamics evolve over time.
Personal Pursuits
Ben is married to the love of his life, his wife Casey, and together they are the proud parents of five wonderful children, some of whom have now left the nest. He has lived in the Puget Sound area for most of his life and enjoys a home in Woodinville. Ben loves to travel, watch and participate in sports of all kinds, listen to music (especially classical and jazz), get outdoors, and spend time with his family.
Community Impact
Ben has volunteered in many capacities throughout his adult life, including with the Boy Scouts, coaching youth sports, participating in local service days, serving on the Seattle Opera Board, and joining international humanitarian trips. He also volunteers a few hours every week for his local church community.
