Mission Wealth Holds Firm Retreat in Scottsdale, AZ May 2022 | Mission Wealth Management
Mission Wealth held our second annual all-firm retreat in Scottsdale, AZ in May 2022. The event was well attended, with over 80 people across all departments: Operations, Investments, Marketing, Technology, and Advisory. The event was filled with many opportunities to bond and get to know other teammates.
Mission Wealth hosted a day of golf to start the 3-day retreat, team activities, a nice afternoon to relax by the pool, and a scenic welcome reception with dinner the first night.
Day two was filled with an early photo shoot of our team, including Women on a Mission, the partner group, and all team members. Shortly after photos was a nice breakfast buffet and a chance to break the ice with several fun activities before the main session. Some of these ice breakers included a fun competition of paper-rock-scissors, one-on-one conversations, and small group shares. The team created a future vision board, sharing what they would accomplish if they were “10x bolder than they were today”. The main session was very informative with each department lead celebrating moments from the past year and giving a sneak peek of what’s to come. Lunch followed with a savory southern buffet.
After a quick break, the team headed to St. Mary’s Foodbank and packed over 26,000 meals in one hour! St. Mary’s Food Bank serves to alleviate hunger through the gathering and distribution of food while encouraging self-sufficiency, collaboration, advocacy and education. Mission Wealth also offered a monetary donation to the organization. Talk about team work!
Later than evening the team headed out to dinner at Toca Madera in downtown Scottsdale, AZ. Toca Madera re-imagines traditional Mexican cuisine by taking a modern approach pairing locally-sourced ingredients with bold flavors. The team shared fine foods, drinks, and tons of fun.
Day three was a sad goodbye but definitely went out with a bang! The team gathered for an early breakfast and resort walk before departing. We can’t wait to do it all again next time!
