Professional Background
Andrew Kulha is a Partner and Director of Estate Strategy at Mission Wealth, where he leads the firm’s estate-planning function and helps high-net-worth families navigate wealth transfer, legacy planning, charitable goals, and trust-related complexities. Drawing on his background as both an attorney and CFP® professional, he works closely with clients and their outside advisors to bring structures & strategy to broader financial & legacy goals.
Andrew has led Mission Wealth’s estate strategy work since joining the firm in January 2022, and he was named to the firm’s 2025 Partner Class as part of Mission Wealth’s next generation of leadership.
His areas of focus publicly include family legacy & value planning, wealth transfer planning, tax-aware estate strategy, charitable planning, trust administration, and fiduciary support.
Before joining Mission Wealth, Andrew served in advisory roles at Mariner Wealth Advisors after several years focused on the practice of estate planning law.
Andrew earned his undergraduate degree with honors in Government and German from the University of Texas, his J.D. from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, and his CFP® education through the University of Georgia Terry College of Business.
Andrew is a licensed attorney in California and Texas.
Personal Pursuits
Andrew does not have free time, but every once in a blue moon, he enjoys time outdoors, college football Saturdays cheering on the Texas Longhorns, and sharing good food with family and friends. Professionally, he serves as secretary of the board of the FPA Houston chapter and is a member of the Houston Economic and Financial Forum and the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation.
Community Impact
At the Financial Planning Association Houston Chapter, Andrew serves on the board as Secretary. He also volunteers with the Houston Young Lawyers Read to Succeed Program, which connects licensed attorneys with third-grade students at a disadvantaged school in Houston's East End. In addition, Andrew remains involved with the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation Fellow and the Houston Food Bank, where he is committed to giving back to his community.
